Objectives

At the end of this module the student is able to : 

Define the main properties of  the different reservoir fluids

Know the basics of petroleum chemistry

Apply the knowledge of phase behavior using phase diagram 

Identify and explain key points of the phase diagram of different reservoir fluid

Have a good knowledge of reservoir fluid classification based on their key parameters.

Calculate  hydrocarbon  initially in place

Know reservoir fluid sampling methods and PVT experiment

Use empirical  correlations for PVT calculations
