Objectives

The main objective of this course is to provide students with a wide and comprehensive understanding of well completion process, with a broad overview of all aspects of completion design, and operations. It familiarizes the attendants with the main completion components: reservoir-wellbore interface, the production string and the production wellhead. It will enable attendees to select the downhole tubing accessories needed to optimize production and future well work, design, plan and install safe and efficient well completion for all types of wells. Intelligent completions are also explained.
